Fabric Swatch Brochure: Custom Drapes Brochure

After field research that taught us OR nurses were regularly Frankenstein-ing drapes to fit the head surgeon’s preference — i.e. cutting oddly shaped holes, slicing off unnecessary panels, and taping miscellaneous pieces together — it was time to really demonstrate what Medline has to offer. We support fully custom solutions based on what the operation calls for and surgeons’ preference. I started with a pencil mock-up mapping out everything, including where the six unique fabric swatches would hang. This piece walks through our four step dynamic discovery process which takes the customer from nailing down every feature through test driving the custom sterile drape prototype in the OR. I incorporated my handwriting on the front cover and on pages three and four, mimicking how we help the hospital capture the specifics of each request, down to the smallest detail.
